I’m a graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where I had the privilege of spending part of my year-long internship seeing patients on an Adjunctive Cancer Care shift. Prior to attending CCNM, I completed a BSc. Honors Specialization in Genetics and Biochemistry (with a minor in Music, because I’m not just a science geek!) from the University of Western Ontario.
If there’s one thing my education and experience has taught me, it’s that every human being really is unique. We all have different genes, environments, and life experiences that make us who we are. I believe medicine should reflect that, and I love working collaboratively with people to create treatment plans that are personalized, manageable, and evidence-informed. Speaking of collaboration, I also believe medicine should be a team sport; I am more than happy to work alongside any other practitioner you see to ensure you get the absolute best care possible.
I welcome anyone to my practice, and am happy to help with any concern you have. I have a particular interest in cardiovascular health, diabetes management and prevention, immune health, and dermatology. As a self-professed geek, I also love a good challenge. If you have an unusual condition, have struggled to get a diagnosis for your illness, or have tried numerous treatments with no success, I will gladly work with you.
Outside of the clinic, I can often be found playing the flute or cello, rock climbing, reading anything from Austen to Kafka, harvesting herbs, making my own body care and cleaning products, going to the gym, and attempting DIY projects.
